uktaxadvisor - non-paying bidder
Here is a sample email from this clown. He did NOT pay for the lens on which he successfully bid. Claimed to have been in hospital undergoing a 17 unit blood transfusion on the Monday after the auction finished. Strange how he managed to pick up some heavy living room furniture on the Tuesday and leave feedback. I emailed him 5 times about the sale and only opened a dispute after 7 days of no response - this is the required amount time that must pass before a non-paying bidder dispute can be filed. He had miraculously recovered enough by the following Sunday to email me - AFTER the dispute had been opened. Must be some kind of superhuman to recover from intensive care that quickly... His negative feedback left for me earlier this week has been removed by eBay - says it all really... Judge for yourself. By the way, this is my wife's eBay account - Nancy Brady. As a matter of fact, I am empowered to judge others, by the Lord Chancellors Department; what is your license ?

A DREADFUL eBAY TRANSACTIONReview created: 03/06/08

Over 5 years dealing on eBay, this is WORST EVER SELLER I've - ever - had the misfortune to come across. Be very wary, examine Nancy's feedback, Much over £30.00 ? How many for a pound or 2; classic way that feedback is built, to build confidence.
Why leap to a non-paying bidder listing, at the earliest opportunity ? Strange, isn't it, that those decent, honest folk, who pay their bills, don't presume this. Maybe it's because of a detailed knowledge of how these scams work. But how ?
This is only surmise.
I find it exceedingly difficult to want to proceed with anyone wqho openly publishes untruths, and half truths. I offered to pay by return, but felt that his leaping to eBay, with indecent haste, deserved an apology. My name was on all of my eMails; he hides behind his pseudonym. (Nancy ?)
My address is listed at eBay. but Nancy choose to ignore all of these things, In fact, being one who seemed fail, abjectly, to allow the facts to muddy any of his arguments, he - effectively - frustrated any agreement.
That is why I refused to continue to deal with Nancy; I - simply - don't trust him.
