Kodak EasyShare M853 Digital Camera

a good camera but a pity it was second hand as if i had of paid a extra 9.00 you could get a new one

I bought this mainly so that I have a point and shoot camera that I can carry about with me. I've got loads of SD cards from old phones, so it seemed an obvious choice to go with Kodak.

This camera gave good quality pictures every time I've used it. Optical zoom is only 3x, which is common enough not to say any more about. I don't use digital zoom so I can't comment on that, but it can get a shot of an over excited Jack Russell chasing his ball, with no blurring, which impressed me.

Card-wise seems to work with everything I've tried - several capacities and sized SD cards with adaptors as required, including a 6GB Micro SD HC.

Overall, very pleased.

I decided to purchase this camera after purchasing one for my nan. The camera is extremely easy to use, it doesn't have lots of buttons or menu after menu. The picture quality is great, along with being able to video record with sound this camera is a fantastic all rounder without a huge price tag attached. It's also lightweight and small enough to fit in any ladies handbag, but not too light that if you dropped it you wouldn't notice it had gone. This is my second 8mp digital camera and this camera shames my previous one on just about anything you could possibly ask about them. I recommend this camera to anyone, especially those who aren't overly confident with a digital camera or have no knowledge on how to use one, as it is so easy to use that even my nan has been able to figure it out.

Crystal clear pics, easy to use and nice and compact looks superb in classic silver, mostly bought beacause its Kodak a name you can trust, was a bit hesitant when read factory reconditioned but not found any problem.

I like everything about this camera. It looks very smart, is very light and small, has lots of functions, picture clarity is wonderful, am absolutely delighted! I highly recommend it ................ I decided to buy it because it is a Kodak (my present camera is a digital Kodak which I have had for about 7 years) and it is smaller and much lighter than the one I already own. It is also VERY much cheaper - my first one cost getting on for £600! That camera has served me well and will continue to do so - it is as good as it was when I got it. I trust this new one will be as good. The case I got with my wonderful new camera is very nice, thank you and I was delighted to get the mini tripod and cleaning kit as a nother bonus. item received was as described, but we were not aware that it was a factory
reconditioned unit, we could not find itmentioned on the selling spec.

But overall we were pleased with the camerea,and delivery was quick, thank you

After searching ebay endlessly for a camera, I came across this rather attractive M853. Upon ordering the camera, I later decided to browse the net for reviews on this Kodak model (yes, it was stupid of me to browse reviews after I bought it... ahh well). I was dreading the quality of the camera after reading soo many negative reviews... However, when I actually recieved the camera and tried it out myself, I promise all of you that I personally feel those negative reviews on the M853 DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE, the camera is great!

If u need a camera to just pull out and get snapping, this is your dream. Great price also.

Like--Very user friendly with good pictures.
Dislike--Prominence of blue in some pictures.
A good second Camera when you don,t want to carry the bulk of a Digital SLR.

Even refurbished it look perfectly new...I needed an HD camera for a gift... and the kodak was just the perfect one... 2 times cheaper!! great deal!

Sleek. The charging via usb ports is an excellent feature which brings it firmly in the front league. One get the feeling the surface finish is not so durable though.
Good buy though. Would recommend it for that price. 8.1MP!!

.. even i can use it which is saying something. pics come out crystal clear and my hand's shake something terrible

Kodak M853 is compact I like because it is easy to use with very good results,
and the printed picture comes out very clear and good colour. Small enough for pocked and handbag.

i have 2 toddlers always on the move and with previous cameras i always got blury pics but with this camera i can catch the cheeky smile quickly and capture my daughters first few steps clearly even tho she was wobbly never shown in the picture and was very easy to use with easy useable settings!!! and what a great price!!!

This camera is in good looking, standard quality. Its good in comparison of price but it takes time on restting for retaking picture. i.e. can't take pictures rapidly.

the product fits it's descrption but has charging problems. was delivered on time and postage cost very reasonable
