Sony PSone Console

Well...What can you say about the small psone? It's brilliant! Exceptional value with the add-ons that you can get including screens, guns, steering wheels etc etc!
Such a wide range of games available for it aswell and so many popular series Crash, Spyro and Rayman are but to name a few.
I give the playstation an excellent rating because how could you possibly get bored with the amount of games it has!!?!?
Ok ok, the graphics aren't as snazzy as today's specs but for a retro console, you cannot complain. And where does graphics come when comparing it to gameplay anyway!
If it's a good value for money console you are after, this is definetly the console to go for!

I love playing all my old games, takes me back to the days these use to be hundreds of pounds and i got mine for a meer £15.
However id recommend buying a PS2 as these arent much more, you can pick one up for £30+ and these play PS2 games as well which you can get pretty cheap online and in most stores like gamestation. Also the PS2 can play DVDs.
In the end the only reason you would buy a PS1 would be to re live your past or if you cant afford a PS2.

Well where shall I start...

I was really looking forward to some retro gaming; went to the trouble of buying a scart lead and power cable separately. Unfortunately, the console just doesn't work. I even purchased a lens cleaning disk designed specifically for the PS1 Slimline in order to fix it, but that wouldn't even read. Seller tried to hide by ignoring my first couple of emails but has subsequently replied at the 3rd time of asking and refused point-blank to refund me; this despite describing the item as in 'Great Condition.'

As i am a collector buying a slimline version of the PS1 was essential and so go get a boxed version in such great condition for the money i paid was excellent. the delivery was swift and so i received the item in 2 days which i thank the seller for. All the components were as new and were stored neatly in the box on arrival. 5/5 for the seller, condition and the delivery.

I bought it but never received itand according to Paypal I have lost my money and so E-bay will not be used by me again.

The PSone is for my son and he said it is very good. He likes playing all the games and has not tried all the games yet. Although an older machine, he likes the older games and says they are just as good as newer ones. Overall he is happy with the games and extra stuff you sent, aalthough he can't dance to save his life, funny to watch though. Thank you for an enjoyable product.

its easy to set up. keeps the children entertained when it is raining. and easy to put away plenty of games to play on. cheap enough to buy. especialy for single parents.

I was very pleased with this item. I have my granddaughter living with me and I can remember playing the games on the psone with my own children so I bought this one for something we could do together. Half the games are boys games but the others will keep us going for a while. I bought it with birthday money so now I have something to remember this birthday with. Great value for money.

You can't beat a bit of retro gaming! I bought the PS1 as I had one a few years ago, and liked it then. The graphics are ok, and there is a massive choice of games for the PS1, all at really good prices. The kids can also play the PS1 as it is not too complicated and there are games suitable from age 3+.

when i received the item, it all looked ok. i sent good feedback. after using it, i noticed where you put in the games, the little eye had come off.

I love the fact that i won it so cheaply as i have been looking for one for my little boy for ages. It keeps him quiet for a bit. He loves the games and the console.

Ofcourse PS1 was an excellent game when it came out but today when there are wifi, DS, PSP and PS3 around; sony play station one comes at the average according to my point of view.

Its excellent for the kids who dont care much about the graphics. The some differences I could see between this retro PS1 and the modern ones are as follows:
1)Quality of the graphics
2)Its heavy as well
3)It can neither play dvds nor you can connect it to internet
4)Its not completely compatible with the modern televsions we have today. It does work fine with some but I have tested myself with most its not compatible and the first thing which becomes affected is its 'SOUND'

Overall I rate it 6/10. It is a very good invention by sony, first step in their all other games inventions, I really appreciate their work.

I have bought it as a gift from my younger brother who doesnt care about the graphics; all he want was a good game with thrilling sounds so thats perfect for him!!
