Bought it because i love her " car wheels on a gravel road" i love Hot blood, its possibly THE best rock song i have heard, so, i bought this and its great!
I'm just getting into it and i know i'm going to love it! Mean and moody when she wants to be and sultry and in pain at times. I'm finding that this is how Lucinda Williams is.

I feel this album was written by a very morbid and bitter mind, I can assure you that you will either love it or hate it, it is very black and white !!
For me this is one of the best, and most payed albums I have bought in recent years, and if you were currently divorcing a partner that has had countless affairs, you will agree !! The lyrics are so poignant,you will play it untill worn out, and still have the lump in throat !!
I sincerely hope you are among the lucky few that are left cold by this collection, but if you have been there, or like me are still fighting being sh*t on you will love this. Buy it and try it.

After "Car Wheels" and "Sweet Old World" this was a disappointment. Dreary and tuneless - I did not enjoy this at all. Come on Lucinda, you can do better than this!
