John Holt - 1000 Volts Of Holt (CD 1994)

If you love reggae and can appreciate an outstanding voice then this is for you.I remember my parents playing this when i was young and loved it then.There is not a bad track on the album and they are all well written and beautifully delivered.I can guarantee you will make this (if you choose to buy it) one of your favourite albums.

I remember listening to this as an album many years ago. A great CD - Bought back lots of memories. A real blast from the past !

I love this album to bits when I was younger my mum played her LP all the time and I grew up singing "The morning of my life" when ever I felt low, now 30 years later its still the greatest cd in my collection played over & over. My soul mate, my Lover, my friend likes this too so I might buy another as a spare as once you listen to this album you will always listen

There are only two reggae artist I like, Bob Marley and my favorite John Holt.
I first heard him when I was running a pub and someone put on Help me make it through the night on the jukebox and again on a fabulous holiday in Kos.
Years later I was shopping with my granddaughter and I spotted a cd of Holts, I checked to see if that song was on it and bought it then dissaster my husband and daughter thought it was a great cd also and took it (without my permission ) to play in their cars. We were going on a trip I went in the glove department to get a cd when I spotted MY cd it was then my husband confessed it was unplayable as it was scratched beyond repair he blamed my daughter she blamed him. I was so upset.
On Ebay one night I thought lets see if I can get my cd (as you know if it's not on Ebay it does not exist ) I found it, I found it I screamed to my husband so I bid on it. It was a few nerve racking days till I finally won it.
Now as I am writing this review I am playing my all time favourite cd.
