An awesome display of both musical and lyrical talent, sheryl crow never fails to deliver the best of both. Crows heart felt words take us through the tortures of heartache with sweeping majesty, from "My favorite mistake" which is the sound track to every difficult love affair, to the meltingly sad " Crash and Burn" . However while this makes for an emotional album it never becomes dull but is lifted by the superbly structured music and catchy riffs. A deep, dark exploration of life and love, this is often angry and desperate but oh-so good and should not be missed
