one of the better combinations of carly simon songs. It has her best know hits all on one album. newly released albums are three times the price . Again on a random search for cds to replace vinyls.

I really bought this for the track 'Why' because it was produced by Chic and is a bit of a lost classic of theirs so that tells you I am not starting from being a big Carly fan.
That said, this is quality singer/songwriter pop and Carly does have a really good voice.
'You're so vain' does deserve it's classic status today and I remember it making an impression on me even in my early teens and the other most familiar songs ('The right thing to Do', 'Attitude Dancing' etc.) are decent pop but Carly is certainly no Carole King or Joni Mitchell!
That said, this is quality singer/songwriter pop and Carly does have a really good voice.
