Ice Age (DVD 2002)

I had the DVD before and I bought this one as a replacement because the old one got damaged. What I like about the DvD is the level of concentration need to understand the movie itself.

I brought ice age 2 at local store for grandchildren. they enjoyed it but did not stock 1 . lookes on e. bay and there it was. super fast dilivery of e. bayer . very pleased

ICE AGE IS AN ALL AROUND FAVOURITE FOR ANY CHILD OR ADULT ALIKE,ITS NOT JUSTA GREAT WATCH BUT ITS FUNNY AND IT KEEPS THE CHILDREN GLUED TO IT ALL THE WAY THROUGH LOVELY CHARACTERS AND A GOOD WATCH

because my friend ask me to get the dvd of ice age for ur little boy and there said that it was verey excellent dvd to have for him to learn about different people and where there live.

I have watched this DVD many times and I still find it amusing/entertaining. I wanted to add it to my collection. I spend a lot of time in Turkey and Turkish television leaves a lot to be desired.

I was very reluctant to watch this movie, i thought it was just ANOTHER movie for kids. A good friend of mine saw it, loved it and wouldn't shut up about it so i rented it and was hooked. So much so, that i've just bought it, and it's sequel (Ice Age 2 - The Meltdown). Whats so good about it? I'll tell you.
This film is very cleverly put together, it's great, wholesome entertainment for kids but also has visuals and jokes in it for us bigger kids. It's a movie that can be enjoyed by all generations. It's very light-hearted.
The story-line is great, it's different, it doesn't take long to get going, and will keep you entertained right through to the end. The characters are lovable, the script well written, and it's the kind of film you can watch over and over again. I also think it's very funny but that's just my opinion.

The rough story-line is, without giving anything away; Everyone's migrating south for the winter except Sid the Sloth and Manny the Mammoth (for diff reasons), they find a human baby and, reluctantly on Manny's part, form a herd and set about trying to return the baby to 'it's herd'. With this story-line the film shouldn't work, but it does, and it's fab.
You will enjoy it if you like Shrek, Madagascar, Over the Hedge, and of course the Disney Classics.

a great all round family film. full of laughts great characters all star voices. a good story for a kids film also. as well as the main story you get to follow poor scrat and his quest to find the best acron/nut. a good laugh and a film you can watch over and over again.

great film very funny and ideal for any age group. i recommend this film to everyone.brought for my son but i think it is ace, i love watching it.

needed it for my daughter's 2ndbirthday and she was driving me made with "where's the baby". Excellent service and quick delivery.

Great family film,especially for all the big kids out there age20+. You need to watch this a couple times as you miss bits when you are rolling about the floor laughing. Great cast of characters, set in prehistoric times, watch out for Scrat the squirrel rat who almost steals the show. Well worth watching.

kids thoroughly enjoyed this great fun for all the family a real sunday afternoon flick that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike well worth watching more than once as in parts you laugh so much you miss bits !

Great animation, one-liners, and originality make this a great kids movie, which the adults will love too!

My boyfriend and I are in our early 30's with no kids yet but still decided to watch this. Plenty of adult humour and we laughed aloud several times. Helps if you pay attention though as there are loads of little comments or background things all over this film that you could miss.

THE FILM HAS HAD GOOD REVIEWS AND IT WAS A BARGIN I HAVE THE FIRST ONE SO IT MADE SENCE TO GET NO TWO AND IT IS AS FUNNY AS THE FIRST ONE GLAD I BROUGHT IT

This is a truly superb kids movie - but not to be missed by the adults either.

I don't recall it causing massive noise in the cinema - which is a shame. For me it's right up there with Shrek. My 7 and 2 year olds both love it but there's enough depth and great one liners in there to keep the adults absorbed as well.

I thoroughly recomment it. Plus it must have made an impact on DVD because Ice Age 2: The Meltdown followed and, although not as amusing, was a great watch too.

absolute quality. If you like Cartoon films you'l love this, great characters, funny script. Scrat the squirrel-rat creases me up. Highly recommended

very worried when we first opened parcel as all the wors on the cover were foriegn. but the film was in english luckily

I bought this DVD for my daugher hoping that she would like it. She loved it, and so did I. This is a great animated film for young and old alike.

The story is about three prehistoric animals who find a human baby and them trying to get him back to his father. The characters are voiced by Jack Black and Denis Lery to name a few. I laughed a lot through this film and I have to be honest cried a little at the end (what a wimp!). A good film all round.

I love this movie .... it s fab. Would recommend it to everyone . Sid the sloth is my favourite and the baby of course reminds me of my grand daughter when she was born In fact we call her Ice age baby still

One of the best childrens (and grown ups)films ever! Very funny, very tender and compulsive viewing for anyone with a heart and a sense of humour. I searched for ages for this dvd (I think they had been taken off the shelves for Ice Age2) because I wanted to give it to some friends for Xmas. Thank goodness for Ebay!!! One happy customer and some very happy friends - they loved it too :-))

i wanted this dvd coz i bought the second one for my daughters, i loved the fact that it was very reasonably priced and it would have been delivered. theres no better shopping than that.

The product was described as new still in the packaging, when it arrived itwas wrapped, however when the packaging was removed, it was clear that the disc inside was not brand new. I bought the dvd for my son who was given Ice Age 2 as a present so I wanted him to have the first one aswell.

THIS IS A VERY AMUSING FILM WITH LOTS OF LOVEABLE CHARACTERS IN IT.PERFECT FAMILY VIEWING IN MY OPINION.THERE IS THE USUAL SPATTERING OF GAGS DIRECTED AT THE ADULT AUDIENCE,BUT THAT DOES NOT SPOIL IT FOR THE CHILDREN AS THERE IS ENOUGH ACTION GOING ON TO KEEP THEIR INTEREST.
