I have other Vimla DVD's so was happy to purchase this edition but the DVD does copy some material from other DVD's that she has done so is really a medley of some of her other stuff. It has a good daily routine section and then two other random sessions. I found the cool down breathing sessions a bit shorter than I prefer but a good all round DVD.
Not exactly what I expected - the presenter is an older American lady who seems to rush through the yoga routines. I was hoping for something a little more chilled out and relaxing in line with the yoga I have previously done. I probably won't be running through the exercies again to be honest!
It's a great introductory example of yoga from an experienced teacher offering a clear, concise and defined guide to achieve your own goals. It is taken step at a time and allows the viewer to integrate these ideas into a personalised plan suitable for all individuals ages and abilities. It also gives some good advice about the many 'uses' of yoga as well as the physical instruction which helps overall understanding and touches on other aspects of yoga practice such as relaxation techniques also. In all, a good start and a well presented demonstration of yoga theory.
