This is exactly the device i need, but can i eller's like get it to bleeding work on my system.
I have a new-ish laptop with vista running on it, and the disc with it is xp, so i checked out the yamaha site for the latest vista driver, downloaded it, and it say's it won't run on my system, so i did it all again and again, wiping any previous traces of it, but the vista driver say's again and again, it will not work on this system ! i have searched the web on found several other people that are having exactley the same problem (but many are happy with the new driver) and all i can find is for some reason the new Vista driver, doesnt work on several brands of LAPTOP (wierd) why laptops?, SOOOOOO
I have tried to run the xp on my vista pretending it is an xp, and this doesnt seem to work either, so it seems that the ux16 does not like laptops, either xp or vista it doent like laptops.
