Robson Green is in his usual nutty role which he puts across convincingly. His partnership with his new D.I played by Simone Lahbib is strained at first, but his obvious talents are soon recognized & bonding is established. The cases are the usual mix of horrific serial killer & mentally disturbed patient and never fails to keep you guessing while Dr. Tony Hill tries desperately to get into the killers head. A very entertaining four episodes which any fan (like me) of the Wire in the Blood series will definately enjoy.
I was a huge fan of series 1,2 and 3 and was a little nervous with the departure of hermone noris (DCI carol Jordan). I didn't think it would work without her. However although not as brilliant it is still very good, the makers have changed the atmosphere in to something darker, the lighting used and the police station and tonys flat etc..look less inviting. They have made it feel new to fit with the new female lead. There are still some familer faces and the chemistery between The new DI and Tony is there again. I give it 9/10
