After Beatles 1, it's time to relive the music of Sir Paul McCartney & Wings. It's a great collection of McCartney music, mainly Paul is contributing with positive music, in a negative world and has always been. Of course it's not easy to follow in the fotsteps of the Beatles, but no one gets even close. By this album with confidence, the songs sounds great.
As a Beatles fan I just had to have this (I already had Lennon Legend & the George Harrison retrospective) I went to HMV and the prices just plain scared me so I did what I normally do in those situations and went on ebay. I found exactly what I was looking for at an excellent 'Buy it now' price (That took the waiting out of wanting ) so I went for it delivery and general service was d to none so I for one couldn't be happier! Many thanks A*****
Brilliant album, like all the songs and never tire of listening to them! Bought it as an extra album, as i already have it, so i could let my younger brother have one. Our dad listened to the wings and the beatles all the time and it reminds us of him when we listen to it!
The wings is one of the bands i was raised up with as my father was a big fan of them in his youth. I've always liked music from this era. I bought it for my father who only has a tape version of the early release Wings albums. All in all a great CD and very pleasurable t o listen to.
A good compilation, overall very nostalgic, but showing McCartney at his most inventive since the Beatle days, and certainly better than most of his recent albums. Stand-outs include With a little luck,Uncle Albert, Silly love songs and Live and Let Die. Some unusual additions include No More Lonely Nights, and thankfully no Frog Chorus. Also loved Waterfalls, although a bit naff now but I loved it when I first heard it.In general, a great listen.
i decided to buy this item for my father for christmas. as he is a big fan of paul mccartney. i had ordered it in plenty of time for xmas but was waiting a long time for it to be delivered after so long i contacted the seller who then informed me that the item had never been delivered and returned to them via the royal mail.
