Willow (DVD 2002)

I love this film, which again holds some lovely memories. Its a great film about all differnt personalities working together and becoming friends. I just love everything about this fild and enjoy so much watching and bought this to replace the one i bought before because my relatives have spent so long passing it between each other i never get to watch it.

What can i say about this film.
I saw this when it was first released and brought it on video, moved and lost it, have wanted to buy it on DVD for some time then thought e-bay and what do you know found it and brought it.
The film is an excellent fantasy tale of sorcery and good v evil, although all these new films contain fantastic special effects and multi-million pound bills this is one i would pick over some of the best out there, it's for children and adults alike and a must for anyone who enjoys this type of film.

well the dvd was so funny hours of fun i forgot how funny the dvd was it's a well made film it's old i know but what a dvd

i like the film found it a bit slow someone siad it was good bought it as it was cheep. will watch it again .

This film is fantastic. It was filmed in New Zealand and is a lovely story of how different people can work together to acheive their aims.
My 3 children love it, it's witty, moving, sad and keeps you entertained.
An excellent family movie.

A family fantasy film, the effects looking a bit dated now, but still a film to watch especially if you like Sword & Sorcery type films.

Plot Summary:

The land is ruled by a evil witch Queen (Jean Marsh). An ancient prophesy decrees that a savior will be born from a prisoner.

The child is born and a dwarf called Willow (Warwick Davis) is tasked with saving the child.


This is the special edition which has some nice 'extras'

for all of those that lived and grew up through the 80's this is one of the best films to re-live those days. this film to me is on par with the likes of "the dark crystal" and other amazing films alike.
in all, well worth getting :)

classic film which is a lot funnier than i remember, it has it all, action, romance,fantasy and magic. great for all the family.

I like this film because it's an excellently funny, well written, the performances by all the actors are outstanding and the sets are beautiful. I bought it to replace my video copy. This holds it's own with other classics such as princess bride. Thanks for the experience to all those that had a hand in making it and i promise i will never eat another brownie. This is a fabulous film that you will want to watch again and again. A really good storyline, with a very hunky actor in his prime (Val Kilmer). Some really good effects and the good versus evil and good winning, that it should have.

I bought this DVD brand new and in packaging. I have it on video and have done for years it is a classic, timeless, mythical adventure film and I wanted to share this film with my 8 year old daughter who now loves it also. It is a great family film and I know I am repeating myself but it is a timeless classic.

This is such a lovely film, and the dvd is great. The extras are fun and the lay out of the dvd is good. It is definitly worth buying this if you enjoyed the film.
