this album by the modfather is a must have in anybodys collection so all you whipper snapper's out there check it out and be blowed away by weller's magic it won't disappoint later's pudgester

the songs on the album never date.I bought it years ago when it was first released,over time it went on permanent walk about.It was wonderful to hear ballads that took me back to younger days.

This album is a classic and Mr Weller is totally at his best. The whole album has a great mood to it throughout. From the pure energy of Sunflower to the mellow acoustic tones of Wild Wood - the band is totally together and you realise that these musicians are working together and not laying down one track on top of another. Anyone that cannot find a place for this album in their collection needs to be tested. If this is the only album you buy from Paul Weller it would be worth it....but believe me...you'll be back for more!
