Not an album I was familiar with but glad I took a punt and won it! Having watched Stewart in his Steam Packet days, progress to thr classic 'Nods as good as a wink...' (The Faces), then to 'Every Picture tells a Story', song books of traditional standards, etc. I'm delighted to add this album to my collection.
There is always a gamble on buying second hand CD's: What you need to find is a seller who sells lots of CD's and where they have recieve possitive feedback: Dont just see possitive feedback, actually read them to check people are really happy with there purchase: I buy several older CD's of the 70's and 80's as my wife likes having them on on her CD player whilst doing the house work or relaxing. This CD was a re-release in 1998 of several old hits so it was less likely to be worn out: I decided to buy this one as she likes Rod Stewart and this seller looked like a reliable one: This buy turned out to be an excelent one, with the quality of the CD almost perfect for a 2nd hand CD. The Sellers description was excelent and the speed of delivery was good (as implied by the feedbacks he had aleady recieved: Note: I often did not mind paying more via a reliable seller than take a gamable on a cheap option as the old saying regularly proves true: You pay for what you get: Let EBay do the searching for you: Sometimes I have to take a gamble as the only options availble make it a gamble, however I try to limit this by setting Ebay to tell me when items are listed to save repeated searches, doing this I see new listings for items I am after as and when they are listed thus giving me more choice without the hastle of doing the searches daily
