Oasis - (What's The Story) Morning Glory (CD 1995)

this has to be oasis's greatest album yet.
it has a wide variety of songs from rock to gentle guitar songs.
you could almost call it there greatest hits album. it has almost all there best songs and is one of the most recognised albums ever.
the tape of it is terrible quality but now they have released it on cd the quality of it is amazing since it is more than 10 years old.
this is a must have - get it for a loved one

Are you kidding?? a review for 'Morning Glory' Surely one of the best albums of all time. Basically an original album which turned out to be a collection deserving chart toppers for Oasis. Makes most bands' 'best ofs' and 'all time great's'etc look rather lacking in material.
If you want a definition for the word awesome, listen to this.

I had to replace it, after my daughter left home and took it with her. To me it it was Oasis who were the best band by far at the time, to come out with one of the classic albums of that decade. Even after twelve years on, every track still seems to be as good now as it did then. I don`t ever think i shall ever become bored of listening to it, if i do it will have to be something special.

This legendary album brings the best out of Oasis, a blend of slow pieces and old fashioned brit pop make it a must buy!
I've re-discovered my love for Cast No Shadow and Hello, the others just havent left my heart!

This is a great CD for lovers of all kinds of music. It combines great singing and awesome guitar playing! Well worth listening to!

One can always tell whether an album has standed the test of time, because the music sounds just as good presently as what it did when it was first released, and Morning Glory hasn't lost any of its character.

My very first Oasis single, Some Might Say, is included here and is one of the best songs on the album because of its feel good rhythm, and a nice match for the summer. Don't look back in anger is of course another favourite among fans, and even people who havent heard their material will recognise this widely played song, though the opening rhyth springs to mind Imagine by the Beatles, as well as the old style video. Wonderwall is again another classic 90's song, and brings back memories of an era gone by, with its beautiful sounds, and powerful vocals. Morning Glory is another powerful song, but theirs only one song which rounds off the album perfectly, and thats Champagne Supernova.

Its memorable, uplifting lyrics want to make you get up on stage and wave your hands in the air, and the because its not as fast as the the other numbers, its an emotional way to end such a great album. And since it wasnt released as a single in the UK, this is the only album to find it - and what better album could it be on?

Makes me sound old but this album reminds of when you could smile at someone in the street without them thinking you were (a)crazy (b)about to assault them (c)deserving a slap!
Catchy tunes and lyrics that will span a lifetime, perfect either to chill out to or to get over that ridiculously long day at work, so sit back relax and let that smile creep up on your face.......its ok, no-ones looking!

I borrowed friends cd and i broke it so i had to buy another one, i found this cd on ebay for a very low price, when it came, which was so fast, it was in mint condish and still had the booklet inside the case. this booklet has photographs and lyrics of the song inside of it. the best track on the cd by far is morning glory, it is jst an amazing song which is timeless in my eye.the only song missing from this album that would make completly perfect is live forever. i am in 2 minds weather to give this cd back to my friend or not, or maybe i can buy another off ebay just because it is soooo cheap

This has got to be the best album oasis ever did, i love it, i have listened to it so many time's and even though it's an old album it still gives me a buzz when ever i listen to it again and again and again, it's well worth buying....

what a cd i would recommend this. songs are all excellent i remember there songs when they first come ouit. wht a band. either u like them or u dont but there musics first class

I first bought this album on tape when it came out, I was 20 at the time and because of this album and the great music its like a mental photo album for me as certain songs remind me of those times of going out with my mates, going on holidays, gettin off with girls, all those things that are the building blocks of my adult life, experiences, dreams, disappointments and hardships that this music helped me get through, I think its helped shape my attitudes, helped me feel proud to be who I am whatever, wherever I came from.
Its a great album, not just because of the magic of Oasis at the time, but because they came at the right time. I highly recommend this album to anyone young and old as its as classic now as it was in 95.

PROBABLY THEIR BEST ALBUM EVER, IT CONTAINS A VARIETY OF TRACKS, FROM ROCKING GUITAR TUNES, TO THE SOFTER TONES OF NOELS VOICE ON SOME SOFTER BALLADS.
LOVE THEM OR HATE THEM, WE CANNOT ARGUE WITH THE FACT THAT THIS ALBUM HAS SOLD MILLIONS OF COPIES, AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SING ALONG TO MOST OF THE TRACKS AS THEY HAVE BEEN SUCH HUGE HITS.

This is the best oasis albulm going, i have got all their albulms and i am a big fan. I had this albulm already but due to it being played and used so much some of the tracks would not play it was very badly scratched so i am thrilled to get this at such a reasonable price thankyou again

«(What's the Story) Morning Glory?» is the second album by Oasis and it was released in October 1995. Despite claims to be the best band in the world, they aren't and this is not the best album in the world. But it is actually a very good album, probably the best Oasis have recorded to date and it is definitely a classic of the 90's.

Pretty good songs on this album and a very well put tracklist make this album flow quite well. «Don't Look Back In Anger» and «Wonderwall» are fan favorites along with «Champagne Supernova» and «Cast no Shadow».

If you can ignore the embarrassing behavior of the band members and you can accept that their music influences are a bit too obvious, you will enjoy Oasis. If you don't like the band, you should at least give a go at this album because it is worth it.

classic album-do not bother with the "best of" this is it! every song is an instant favorate.this album is as good as everything else oasis have done is bad!

I first got this album on ye olde tape casette in 1996 it was the first album i ever got and it got played to death i love the sound the guitars the vocals my faveourite track is Roll With It the lyrics 'I know i think i recognize your face but i've never seen you before' still resonate with me and songs like Wonderwall sound like instant classics the whole album still sounds as fresh as the day it was released
