Hi everyone. if you like this kind music, you will like it ... Some songs are scrap, but most of them is good. Hopefully you will like this cd like me...
I only knew a couple of songs from this British duo but had liked them enough to try this cd out. I'm glad I did because it's awesome. The songs you all know are excellent, but the songs you don't know are just as catchy. A great buy for any musical tastes....give it a go.
Katy Brand does a great impersonation of the girl in this band (is she called Stacey?). A cross between the White Stripes and Goldfrap. What is her name? Who cares. Red leggings with a blue dress Mmmmm very nice if you like 14 year olds...
I was watching the Glastonbury Festival on TV and came across the Ting Tings purely by accident. Having watched Katie giving it her all on "That's not my name" I thought I must listen to more of this so my first port of call was the CD section on Ebay (as usual). Grat pop songs and excellent selection of tracks on this CD. Highly commended.
I like the whole album, the drummer is fanfastic and guitar chords works very well together.the Tunes are very catchy and you can soon be singing along espicially titletrack and shut up and let me go.
I liked the single Great Dj and wanted to know better this album. As it was a promo sample i was sorry to loose the booklet, but get to know better other songs.
Very Good Debut Album from this Duo, who'd have ever thought that a Chick and a Drumkit could be as audaciously pleasing to listen to??
These guys are definitely going places, turning the concept of minimalist music on it's head, literally, if you like that sort of thing, and i've just discovered, I do..
It's fresh and different, with both haunting and ferocious tracks throughout to suit pretty much any mood you might be in..
I recently purchased the 'ting tings' new album from this seller and although I was admittedly dubious about the purchase as a CD can come in any kind of condition when not sold sealed; My CD came well wrapped, in great condition and has not left my stereo since it arrived! I would highly reccoment this seller!
We Started Nothing kicks off with an absolute belter of a song, the simplistic, ballistic “Great DJ.” White’s vocals are polished when they need to be and the girl hits some pretty decent high notes, but it’s the ridiculously coy chorus that make this track such a perfect pop gem:
The highlight of the album is “Shut Up and Let Me Go”, which has reached the top 40 of the UK Charts and peaked at 55 on the US billboard despite not officially being released as a single yet. The track is very much driven by De Martino’s drums and is smothered with pure attitude and discontent and sarcasm, a feminist burst of angst that packs a punch as a fantastic dance track. Similarly, “Keep Your Head” will have you stomping your foot and/or bobbing your head and is a delightful slice of indie-pop. “Be The One” carries another superb hook and is littered with various percussion sounds and pedals and would serve well as a single. Having said that, there’s very tracks on here, maybe one or two, that wouldn’t do well as a single.
