Enya - Watermark (CD 1993)

I bought this CD to upgrade a cassette so I could listen to it in my car. Enya is wonderful to drive with and this album is like all of her others first class. The music seems so much better on CD and in the confines of the car.

Ive always loved enya her voice is so haunting and that style of music is so celtic, i bought this cd, as in 1993 there was only the tape version, to play in the car, and unfortanely 15 years later cassettes do not sound the same and easily get damaged.
Enya is a very talented artist and her music is excellent although you might not understand some of what she is singing the music say,s it all,
such a great cd 15 years on, i bought this cd because it reminds me of a holiday in dorset in 1993 when i was carrying my first child, so many memories, ONCE AGAIN EXCELLENT CD lizz.

This album is pure excellence from start to finish! No other artist in thier own genre of music would be able to produce such an album. The title track 'watermark' is a beautiful instrumental piece which is beyond words. In my opinion no other artist puts as much devotion, effort, time and even love into thier music than Enya. From the gentle haunting piano of the title track Watermark, and the dramatic stirring vocals of Cursum Perficio to the pure beauty and emotion of Enya's voice in songs such as On Your Shore, and of course the no1 hit Orinoco Flow. This album has everything; gentle and relaxing, uplifting, stirring and even tracks that literally leave you breathless. Fans of all music genre's should find this a compelling and beautiful listening experience. Fans of New Age music, as well as Celtic, ambient, and the "chill-out" compilations will NOT be disappointed. This is a spell-binding, deeply emotional experience, an album you will truly treasure.

I bought this cd because I had it on vinyl and wanted to use it as background music at my wedding in a castle. It arrived promptly and provided a perfect backdrop for a perfect day.

This album is the first album by the legend enya. This album is a must have in everyones collection it is a great album with music which will make anyone take notice. This is a album which is best listening to from start to finsh.
There is no dislikes of this album. Why i bought this album is because i lost my last copie.
