WWE - Backlash 2004 (DVD 2004)

backlash 2004 is the wwe dvd everyone wants!
when i bought this i was so happy, i literally sat in my room and didnt come out untill every last match had been performed.
my favourite match, (and i think this is everyone elses favourite match on the dvd aswell) is:

hardcore match for the intercontinental championship:
this was an unbeleivable matchup! orton seriously put foley to the test in the match that foley made famous. barbed wire baseball bats, trash cans, thumbtacks, chairs, mr. socko, blood... you name it; it was in that match.
a famous match that made the pay per view worth watching on its own.

every other match was great aswell but, for me that was the match of the night.
great dvd, whoever is thinking of getting it GET IT!!!!!!!!!

you honestly will not be dissapointed!

Backlash 2004 (Sunday April 14th from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) was the site of the Final Encounter for teh World Heavyweight Championship between Chris Benoit, Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
Overall it is a decent PPV with some very good matches while only a few pointless ones made it onto the card. The DVD has decent extras but little are worth going out of your way to watch.

Final Encounter for the World Heavyweight Championship
Chris Benoit (c) vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels
-A very good match that rivals their first at WrestleMania XX

Hardcore Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Randy Orton (c) vs. Mick Foley
-A truly brutal match that is worth watching. Foley puts Orton through his paces, while Orton test the "Hardcore Legend" to see if he still has what it takes in a match that had been building for months.

Handicap Match
Chris Jericho vs. Trish Stratus and Christian
-A good match for a inter-gender one and it tells a story which is always pleasing to watch.

Edge vs. Kane
-Good match with Edge wrestling with a broken wrist.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Ric Flair
-A very good match with lots of near falls and false finishes. One of the best matches on the card.

Plus: Hurricane and Rosey vs. La Resistance and Tajiri vs. Jonathan Coachman. The Women's title is also on the line when Victoria defends against Lita. These all seem to be filler matches but are okay as they are kept relatively short.

Bought this dvd for my son who is mad on wrestling.He really enjoys it as it is full of his favourite matches and wrestlers.Not much of a fan myself but he has watched it enough times.
