This album is as it states, like Voodoo. It gets you in your soul and becomes part of you after just a couple of listens. The artist delivers smooth soul, mixed with grimey beats, eclectic rythmns and great vocals, with collaborations with Redman and Method Man on Left and Right and Q-tip.
It's true that you can hardly tell what he is saying when you listen to D'Angelo, but that doesn't matter. A true genius of multiple instrumentation, playing majority of instruments on this album (up there with Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, Dave Grohl) and he delivers with amazing quality. Each song is equally as good as each other. Basically, a great album. If you don't believe me, why not try it out?
