As my 50th birthday approaches, (too fast), I know now is the time to do something positive about my weight, I'm about 3 stones overweight. Also, the prospect of an exotic holiday later this year has really given me the incentive to act positively.
I am a dedicated 'Corrie' fan and had recently noticed how much weight Vicky Entwistle, (aka Janice Battersby), had lost; she looks fantastic, fit and healthy. That was it, I decided to get a dvd, (on ebay), and go straight on a diet.
It's working... after 6 weeks I have lost 20lb, my body fat is melting away and my limbs are more supple/flexible. I hadn't exercised properly for years so
I cannot recommend this dvd enough. Vicky is an inspiration. It is easy to follow, uncomplicated, with mostly boxing moves, ideal for those of us who havn't exercised for a while. Instructor Richard Callender is clear and concise with his instruction.
It will make you sweat... it will probably make you ache... but as Vicky says, your body will get to 'like it'. Mine does, I do it a least 3 times a week, as recommended, in fact if I don't get time to do it one day I miss it... that's something I never thought I'd say!
I like the fact that you can do the exercises at home without having to move the entire contents of the living/bedroom around! I cannot give it enough praise.
The only thing missing was a bit more about Vicky's progress leading up to the making of the dvd, there is a little bit but I would have been interested to see more.
Highly recommended...

P.S.UPDATE 25/06/07 Just wanted to add since writing this review that I'm still losing weight and working out to the dvd. Funnily enough I now ache more than I did when I started! I am using muscles I didn't know I had, the more agile/ fitter I become the more effort I can put into the exercises... still a great dvd. You must watch what you eat too, I've cut out most fat, cheese, full milk and chocolate, no fried food touches my lips; instead I eat lots of veg and fruit and drink lots of water, (especially during the exercises!). Just eat sensibly... you can do it! If I can... anyone can!
