V - The Final Battle (DVD 2002)

Just a brilliant early eighties sci-fi lizard fest. A great dvd set, Michael Ironside is always the best, and when I was little and allowed to stay up late to watch V, I couldn't help feel that Diana was quite saucy for an alien lizard... Well worth watching. Loved it when I was 12, had 14 hour V drinking days in my late teens, and am looking forward to doing that again now in my 30's! The mini series that followed is a bit pants, but the first two, just excellent.

I loved this series when I was a kid, I recently bought the 1st mini-series & had to get the 2nd part. Fantastic effects for its time, Great story. It really took me back to my childhood & i highly recommend it too any sci-fi fans who have never seen it or to any one who remembers it when they were kids..its still as good, if not better. My favorite character was always donovan, He makes a great lead in this film, The only other thing Iv seen him in is twilight zone.

I REALLY LIKED THIS PROGRAME WHEN IT WAS ON TELE , BUT NEVER DID SEE THE FINAL PART , NOW I AM ABLE TO DO SO, AND IT IS OF AN EXCELLENT QUALITY

brilliant when it first came out in the 80s, very much dated now. worth buying if you want to remenis, if you are watching it for the first time; dont bother.
best bits: music, diana, dated special effects.

It's a film you either love or hate. I have waited some few years to watch this series & it was for me worth the wait. I actually enjoyed it as much as the first time around (mines was for nostalgia) & to be honest i've watched it again a couple of times since!!!! The best part for me is the build up to the 'humans' rumbling what the 'visitors' are really about & their purpose for coming here on earth. The bad thing is now that i'm older i can see the reptilian special effects are not has realistic as they seemed when watched all them many years ago....but overall a film worth buying & money worth spending just to reminisce for a little while.

Looking for this for awhile as I have the other disc, great sci show in its day and still great to watch now.

GREAT SERIES, CULT CLASSIC The final round up to the mini series and the complete series 4 disc box set a must see collection...saw when first screened on tv had to buy dvds.......
