At a time when British music was at it's lowest along came the Libertines and thank music they did Carlos and Pete are still genius listen to this album
I love this album 'cause it is one of those albums unlike anything else around at the time it was released, which inspired many a new band. The sheer punk aspect of Up The Bracket and the randomness of the songs (length, energy, tempo, lyrical content) makes this album a classic. High up in my top ten of favourite albums, I defy anyone not to love it!
I bought this cd because i'm a huge fan of The Libertines. Therefore, i couldn't let this limited edition of Up The Bracket go away... I t turned out to be a really good buy, as the cd, despite the fact that was a used one, was in pretty good shape (only skiped 2 secs in track 9) and it brought a DVD with all the video-clips from the singles of this album. An excellent piece of collection for those who sincerely like what was once one of the most promising bands of this new century - The Libertines.
