Ian Brown - Unfinished Monkey Business (CD 1998)

this was his first solo album when he left the Stone Roses and I think it is great. There is a mixture of sounds in it from the deep bass of the opening track to eastern influences and a mixture of experimental music throughout. Turn up the volume to loud and enjoy. Worth buying as all the tracks offer something different.

Ian Brown's first cd came as a bit of a shock,after he looked all washed up at the sad demise of the legendary Stone Roses,and announced that he was turning his back on the music biz for good.
I approached this cd in the same way you view a car crash,but I was pleasantly surprised.
The best songs are right up there with his Stone Roses stuff.
Quality stuff then!
