Unbreakable (DVD 2001)

A true tale of good vs evil, with a real twist in the tail. Both
Bruce willis and Samuel.L.Jackson give outstanding performances. Another hit for M.Night Shyamalans.

I chose to buy this film as some how it slipped through my "films to watch list" over and over, i used Ebay as it was cheap and was entertained but was blinded by Sixth Sense and was expecting a better twist but that was my own fault.
Was a great film by a very accomplished director was just let down by the ending which to be fair was good....hard to explain but then if it only costd you a few pounds why complain??

If were ever into Marvel comics, you will recognise the theme of this movie. Dont get me wrong the movie is good in its own right, but you will read more into it if you have a Marvel type reading background.
The actual movie is quite entertaining, appears slow in parts and finishes leaving you wanting to see more of the potential powers that are discovered by the main character(Bruce Willis). The story leads up to a point where you realise that the main character can do so much, but then it ends...possibly waiting for a sequel...although I doubt it will be made.
Overall quite entertaining and thought provoking - if you are a Marvel fan !

Another winner from Bruce Willis, he has his critics why i dont know, if you sit down to watch a Bruce Willis film you can be sure you will be entertained, this film is another from the long line of top class films. the plot the acting and the twists along the way will have you on the edge of your seat the drama is fantastic, if like me you can watch a film for what it is and not delve to deep into it and critisise at every given oppertunity you will enjoy what comes off the screen and after 28 years of entertaining us Bruce Willis is still going strong and without his films the world would be a poorer place.

What a great film! Not exactly an unbias way to start a review I know, but hey: I love it.

I won't bore you with what it's about as that's easy information to find and I'm sure you probably know already. I will suffice with saying that it's the first issue of a comic book with a great future.

For those comic fans (and I use the word "comic" for "graphic novel" also, with the greatest of respect) who are fascinated by "how it all began", the dark secrets and hitherto unknown mystery finally revealed, this film should appeal.

It portrays the birth of a hero... and the hatching of a nemesis. The film is based around the concept of polar opposites and the finale is no let-down.

Beautifully shot, timed to perfection and well cast, the film is a great experience for any comic fan, film buff or even those who simply like a good story well told. It is well paced, suspenseful and with a nice twist at the end.

Those who enjoy M. Night Shyamalan's work yet, for whatever reason, have not enjoyed this, won't be disappointed. You may be used to "bigger" twists at the end but I always find those to be the icing on the cake anyway: the films are always so good. The rest is there - unusual yet superb casting (both Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson deliver star turns), beautiful use of camera and colour and, of course, the obligatory cameo of the director himself.

For those of you unfamiliar with M. Night Shyamalan (who has also done Signs, The Sixth Sense, The Village and Lady in The Water), this may not be his best film, but that doesn't mean it isn't a great film!

And, for those who are aiming to have a nice copy, the two-disc collectors edition is a lovely piece of art. The packaging and postcards are a joy to see and the bonus disc is packed with features:

x Behind the Scenes featurette with Brice Willis and the director
x Comic Books & Superheroes featurettes, with Samuel L. Jackson providing a fascinating insight into the significance and values comic books bring to people's lives
x Deleted scenes, which are not the usual "scraps", but full quality audio & picture
There are also sundry other items and all is wrapped up with a detailed booklet offering further info.

Well worth buying, I hope you enjoy.

Another fantastic film from m. night shyamalan. If you like this film i highly recommend all other films by this genius!

With Bruce Willis, expect no less than his amazing acting, and role in this film. Follow the lives of two people from different backgrounds and lives but one thing they have in common is their health, Bruce Willis is unbreakable, and his co-star isn't. With twists and turns this film will leave you suprised and satisfied!

i like this film as it has lots of twists in it and you get to see life rom two different ends good to watch x

I bought this film because i have seen it before and i thoroughly enjoyed it. I am quite a fan of all the Bruce Willis films and this was to add to my collection. The plot of the story is excellent and keeps you on the edge of the seat to the end. Samuel l jackson plays a brilliant part as the insane man that is always breaking his bones due to his disease.
This is an excellent film and i highly recommended.

Everything, in my opinion, about this film is magical. A truly imaginative story that left me with a huge sense of excitement for months after first watching it.

The creator of this film is massively awe-inspiring. I would defy anybody not to get a buzz off this movie!!

I've watch the film before, and my boyfriend is a big film buff.
He had never watched unbreakable before, so i thought it would be a good present.
He really enjoyed it and it's now part of our film collection.
A few of our freinds haven't watched it's always a good excuse to have a film night with a curry!!

It's brilliant we can purchase DVD's off e-bay for a good value. It makes cheap presents and they last a life time!
