As a keen student of Greek mythology and the classics I'm no doubt biased. However, their arrangement of part of the Illiad by Homer (the defeat of Hector by Achilles to avenge the death of his friend Patroclus) remains one of the very best examples of their work - The Story Of Achilles is 27 minutes of music that is far more varied and interesting than most other heavy metal. There are 2 more impressive tracks, too - Ride The Dragon and The Power Of My Sword. The production has left behind that horrible 1980s sound and here is powerful and crisp with good separation. This is the 1st album to feature guitarist Karl Logan.
