don't like the lcd screens they are like compaq evo n1015v etc. very easy to get pressure marks etc. well judging by the ones we recieve, also if dismantling the screen lid - not the easiest to get the lcd cable out from under the top plstics but if your after a low cost windows xp laptop for just over £100 this fits the bill.

Toshiba Satellite Pro A10 -A Girly Laptop for a StudentMy main reason for buying a laptop is that my daughter is preparing to go to university and access to a PC / laptop is now an essential part of university life. Her requirements were simple.......it had to PINK ! My requirements demanded a little more and this little laptop fits the bill perfectly.....and yes, it is pink! I wanted a known make, fast processor, lightweight, not bulky, wireless card, good size screen and Windows XP as a minimum. It also had to be cheap so I was focussed on a reconditioned / 2nd hand one - which obviously made the requirements a little harder to come by. This has a 2GHz processor and a 30GB hard drive which is perfect for what it'll be used for. All my requirements were fulfilled and it was a very good price. And yes, the BRIGHT PINK finish was definitely a professional job and as an extra bonus it came with it's own bright pink laptop bag ! What more could a girly student ask for? I would definitely recommend it if you are buying on a budget and want something that will last a few years.
