Many folk think this is a rubbish film. Ohh how wrong they are. From what may seem a shaky lie of golfing rom-com a dazzling rescue wood by Costner and Russo lands this on the green of cinema classics.
It's such a lovely movie, I think I've watched it over 50 times now and never fail to grin childishly throughout most of it. 'Cup, never fails to move with his golfing masterclass and guiless seduction techniques, while a supporting cast are consistently amusing. Don Johnson is up there with Shooter Happy Gilmore and the mole from Caddyshack in the pantheon of golfing baddies
