Ray LaMontagne - Till The Sun Turns Black (CD 2007)

If you appreciate music - give this album a try - Ray Lamaonagne has one of the most haunting voices around and sounds even better live. This album has all the hall marks of a future classic of our time.

Absolutely cracking album. If you like Ray LaMontagne then you will love this CD which doesn't have even an average track. I just cannot stop playing it.

Another great work by Ray Lamontagne, but if you like his earlier work,
beware this is as title suggest very much black!!!! a real dark moody album.

This guy's got a great voice and the lyrics match the mood and tone of the tracks superbly.

It's not over produced and is really easy to listen to in most circumstances. It's one of the most played albums I have and for good reason.

I'm a real fan, but can tetatify without bias that this is a fantastic album with heart, soul and feeling delivered perfectly.

Me and the Mrs always liked the previous album Trouble, but after we saw him live in Manchester we were true converts. The album is more Ray Lamontagne at his best. Some relaxed guitar riffs with Ray singing to more darker harder stuff....Great!!!! We played it once and there were 4 tracks we instantly loved. Not to dismiss the others, as no doubt they'll grow on us to be firm favourites from our entire collection. Buy it, Enjoy it!!!!

Having bought the Trouble CD first I was expecting to hear something along the same lines, but I found this CD a lot less commercial, full of soul and quite intense. If you like Ray LaMontagne for his amazing voice and powerfull story telling, you will love this. It is the perfect CD to lay back and lose yourself in the emotive guitar and unique vocals.
