Throne Of Blood is Kurosawa-san's take on Shakespeare's Macbeth. This truly is a wonderful version of the classic tale of greed, paranoia, murder and betrayal.
Lovingly filmed in a Noh drama style, this film drips with tension right up until the inevitable ending, which for me is pretty spectacular in it's own right. I love this film with a passion and I strongly recommend it to anyone who enjoys timeless classics.
