I brought this dvd because during my last pregnancy I was in a lot of pain due to my joints softening and I didnt take much excercise and after pregnancy I suffer stress incontinence so I decided this time I'd excercise.
A lot of need to no info given at the beginning of the dvd which is very useful. you can pick and choose by your trimester and also whether to do a short 12 min or the full package. I started with the 1st 2nd trimester work out because I was un-fit before I got pregnant again. It was slow enough but works and tighting and toning which will come in hand after birth.
This is a good DVD for pregnancy, the excercises are low impact. The DVD itself is a little old, but its definalty worth a look, as it has the 3 trimesters, a relaxtion part and a after the birth section too. Broke up in to 12mins workouts, so not to long for us tired pregnant ladies!
This dvd is perfect for pregnant women, its gentle, easy to understand and not full of women wanting to be a size zero in hours. I was worried about my fitness when i found out i was pregnant, no need now! You can alternate toning with fitness and its only 15 minutes each workout! Its a few years old, but so much better than the unrealistic dvds we get now. Pending the after pregnancy stage!....
An excellent dvd for mothers to be and new mothers. It's very hard to find dvds for exercise plans for during pregnancy and after the birth of your child, as during both stages you want to be careful of how you exercise so you don't damage yourself or your baby. With the dvd being in sections of 12 minutes it makes it much easier to exercise after the birth especially when your new born is demanding so much of your attention.
I think this dvd is a great idea for any mother who wants to look after themselves and get their before baby body back as soon as possible after the birth.
I bought this DVD while pregnant with my first baby because I wanted to be fit in pregnancy but was unsure what was safe and what wasn't. It really helps to have a set routine to follow like this DVD. I was unsure when I was thinking about buying it as it looked so old but the exercises are still really good and the sections where a doctor is giving information still seem to be accurate. I would recommend this DVD as it is a very gentle but effective way of getting appropriate exercise in pregnancy and has different sections dependant on how far along in pregnancy you are.
I like the way that the dvd is in 12 minute sections so that you can have a break inbetween. I decided to buy it to keep in shape and to help me through labour with my first child. I would definately recommend to others.
It's a great workout dvd to ease you back to normal after your pregnancy. there is an informative part in the beginning telling you about correct posture etc from a dr. its in different parts for each of the trimesters. the exercises are in 12 min blocks and can be adapted for your current situation. its suitable for before, during and after pregnancy. first time doing the dvd you may find the exercises difficult to follow but once you are used to it, it will become easier. the exercises are at a level that even someone who hadn t exercised before could do quite easily. the dvd is not the most modern of dvds but pregnancy and exercise has not really changed that much over the years. i bought the dvd as we are planning another baby and thought it was important to follow a specialist exercise plan before, during and after.
