The Work Of Director Chris Cunningham (DVD 2003)

I'm a fan of Aphex Twin and bought this as it contained two promos for Windowlicker and Come to Daddy. The former was new to me and I found it so funny and visually gripping also, never mind the stunning best-music-you'll-ever-hear-in-a-club soundtrack by the geniis Apehex Twin. Come to Daddy too, and Like Windowlicker though more explicitly, quite uncannily scary. Other films too were interesting whilst the music was of varying quality,sinking to a low on a Madonna song. Might be my imagination but the more creative music seems to bring out the best in CC.

However, here's the best bit. Tucked away under "other work" there's the video installation "monkey drummer"...buy this for that reason only!!!! More music by AT and a stunning video creation by CC.

Overall, I liked this dvd :-)
