one of the most entertaining films every made, saw it when it first came out and brought the dvd on release, worn my first copy out and now have brought another copy of this wonderful uplifting film

I was very pleased with this item. I see the film on t.v and I thought that I would like to add this film to my collection. So I deciced to look it up on ebay instead of trying to find it in the shops only, to find out that they would have to order it in.Very pleased with the out come.

I decided to buy this dvd after watching the movie for the first time, I enjoyed the film so much I wanted to rewind it, but as I had not recorded it, this was an impossibility. As I also missed the begining I had to purchase the film. I loved the romantic subtleties in the humor. Some of the characters are a bit blah, but it didn't bother me still havn't sat down to watch it again, but I know I can now.

Bought this on recomendation of a friend. If you like films like Notting Hill, Love Actually, The Holiday, etc you will like this one. Nice easy feel-good watch, with a gorgeous looking leading man (Dermot Mulroney)and a few laughs thrown in.A few plot twists but generally you know that the all important happy ending will come - but then who doesn't like a happy ending?!! Won't bore you with plot outline....but in my opinion a lovely film which I would watch again.

seen it already, was a real cheer you up ending without the obvious ending of her getting back with her old boyfriend. good value for money for a dvd that can change moods from sad to happy, and funny too

This film is a lovely rom com about a jilted girl hiring someone as an escort to her sister's wedding in order to make her ex jealous. The British/American mix of stars lifts it way above the run of the mill with all the men looking hunky and the women looking gorgeous in true rom com fashion. This film is perfect for a pyjama party, with lots of champagne & munchies. Look out for the 'learning to dance scene' where Dermot Mulroney & Debra Messing smoulder & it immediately makes you want to take dance lessons. Definitely worth watching.

Loved this film,watched with my boyfriend who also enjoyed.Only bought because i read others reviews, and we werent dissapointed.sarah parish was great in it as was the surgeon from holby (dont know his name)...if its a good chick flick your looking for this is a great film to buy....

I have seen this film twice.I found it to be a complete chick flick.If you want to have girlie night in and just have fun then this is it.It is predictable but that is what makes it romantic and girlie. So put your feet up, grab a pizza and some chocolate and other goodies and give it a whirl.Girlie all the way!

very funny, i wanted it because it had the guy from my best freinds wedding in it, but a good watch.

This film was recommended to me and also because Dermot Mulroney is in it. However, I put it on with hight expectations and to be honest, its only - ok. Its very similar to My Best Friends Wedding which takes some beating! Dermot is looking slightly old these days and his boring represenation of the Escort isnt so much sizzling and smouldering and flat and boring. The best bit is when he kisses Debra Messing at the car with her eyes shut...bliss. Sarah Parish is in it and brings some life to the screen. Get it for a really rainy day in but make sure you have someone with you to chat with then the boredom sets in.

A GREAT CHICK FLICK. BOUGHT WITHOUT KNOWING REALLY WHAT IT WAS ABOUT BUT WAS SO GOOD I WATCHED IT TWICE SAME DAY. FOR ME IT WAS FUNNY IT REMINDED ME OF A FEW PEOPLE I KNOW SO IT'S A CASE OF IT'S THAT LITTLE BIT MORE BELIEVABLE. IT'S FOR ROMANTICS AND IT'S A FEEL GOOD FILM, SO IT'S GONNA CHEER YOU UP. I LOVED IT.

This is an above-average 'chick-flick' with an excellent cast, a great lead in Debra Messing and a hilarious script which had me laughing throughout. I had actually seen the movie in the cinema, and decided to buy the dvd after my youngest son had been in hospital and I felt I needed some cheering up. I recommend you put the children to bed, open the pinot grigio, break out the cadbury's chocolate, bn your husband from the sitting room, put your feet up and just enjoy the sheer silliness of it all. A fun film.

I bought this film because it is one of my all time favourite feel good movies!
The story of 2 sisters,one who has to have everything that the other has!Kat comes over to her sister's wedding and brings a male escort as her date because her ex fiancee is the Best Man.Won't ruin the story but its a nice feel good movie for a girly night in with wine and chocolate.

watched it on sky the 1st time enjoyed it so much went on ebay to buy it got it for £5.20 it is a bit of a chick flick but my sons who watched it enjoyed it too, it is quite funny, romantic and a good film too watch on a cold night in with a nice chilled glass or 3 of wine.

I am not one to watch movies, like this. But my wife and daughter were watching it, and I thought oh-okay.
I was surprised, because I became easily engrossed into this film. A woman, hires a male escort (dermot mulroney-my best friends wedding). As a way to get back at her ex-fiance who is the best man at her 1/2 sisters wedding. Along the way, we see drama in the script. We see funny and hilarious bachelor and bachelorette parties. Then we see why he is the ex-fiance. We see a conspiracy, that was hidden. We see anger, and we see Love. We see a man, who has all the answers, including towards the end, of the story, the same advice he gives to the groom, is the same advice you wonder, why he doesn't follow himself. The end of the movie...you can guess for yourself.
Guys, this is a terrific film for you to get for that special lady in your life, to make her happy, sit down, make some popcorn, have a coke or pepsi with her. Cuddle up and watch a funny and fantastic film. A tear jerking teaser for the ladies...and a few emotional guys.

Wonderfull, specially Dermont! Watched it already 10 times, recomended for all girls and some guys. I loved it to bits, worth every money.
