The Warriors (DVD 2001)

One of the classic films that came out in the 70's...with its sound track and arty filming ..this is a film you can watch more then once !
Its a film thats not too far fetched that its unrealistic ..but you can imagine how New York gang land must have been .Now on DVD its yours forever..if you havent seen it ..get it ..if you have seen it ..watch it again !

I bought this DVD for my son as he asked me could i get him it, i looked in the shops at home but they didnt have it,so thats why i went on to ebay you can get any thing on it i was very happy with it and with the price and postage was very fast.

This was the first 18 film i see when i was a kid i see it at pictures when first came out so wanted to see again now it is a cult film.

my wife and i like to watch programs that make us laff, and this is the kind of film that you could sit down and watch again and again.

Yes it still has the following it has enjoyed since its original release.Our VHS copy now worn and past its best we bought the DVD and have had the chance to watch a really good copy again.Not disapponited just enjoyed it and feel sure this Classic cult film will be sought after for some time still.Well worth the money and recommended.

This a really good film. What I like how it shows that with the right friends to stick together you can accomplish anything.

Decided to show my sons the cult film of my teenage years. A real blast from the past, yet still not out of date. We laughed in places that was not intended to be funny. Well worth the money spent on this film, we added quadraphena and the wanderers and had a good night. Well worth watching again (for the memories).

Saw the movie many years ago and enjoyed it.
Saw it on ebay going for a reasonable price and decided to buy it.
Thouroughly enjoyed watching it again.

This movie features The Warriors, who are a New York street gang of the late 1970's. A very good movie of the era, with an also very good sound track. Highly recommended.

GREAT DVD good for gangster type 50 cent eat your heart out all of the takes to be great film buy this you wont be dissapointed

excellent film, well above some of the standards in more recent films of the same type definately sets the bar high for others to follow. follows a gang called the warriors on their first visit to the big city where they find themselves the target of every other gang in the city after they witness the shooting of the leader to the largest and most powerful gang. the film continues with the warriors travels in order to return home to coney island with half the citys cops and all the citys gangs looking to teach them a lesson. excellent purchase for anyone into gangland cinema

this film is a cult legend,its a film that will never go out of fashion its been around for so long now but it still keeps us on the edge of our seats.theres nothing that me and my hubby disliked about this film and would recomend people watch this film.
husband is a true fan of this film .it is a good portrayal of what gang life in the seventies was like fantastic fight scenes,fantastic acting,.
some films nowadays just dont live upto the same standing.

I HADE OWNED THIS GREAT FILM ON VHS BUT DESPRATLEY WANTED IT ON DVD SO I WAS VERY HAPPY TO FIND IT.THIS IS A MUST HAVE FILM FOR ANYBODY WHO LIKES DOWN TO EARTH AND REAL TO LIVE FILMS.THIS FILM IS ABOUT GANGS IN AMERICA AND ONE GANGS FIGHT FOR LIFE AS THEY DODGE THERE WAY HOME ARFTER A BIG MEETING WITH EVERY GANG IN A PARK GOES HORRIBLY WRONG.AND THE WORD GOES OUT ON THE STREET THAT THE WARRIORS ARE TO BLAME.AS THEY DUCK AND DIVE THROUGH OTHER GANGS TURF UNAWARE THEY ARE BIENG HUNTED LIKE A PACK OF DOGS.10/10 FOR THE TRUE TO LIFE STORY LINE AND THE ACTING BY A BUNCH OF UNNONES IS WHAT MAKES THIS FILM ONE OF THE BEST FILMS I HAVE EVER SEEN.

This film is a pure cult classic! Rival gangs in new york all out to get the Warriors,a gang from cony island who have been falseley accused of murder.With great performances and a pumping funky soundtrack the Warriors is a winner! Look out for a young David Patrick Kelly (Commando,The Crow,Last Man Standing) as the real bad guy and leader of gang called The Rogues!
