Hot Chip - The Warning [Digipak] (CD 2006)

Many folk rave about the most recent release from Hot Chip "Made in the dark". Apparently their earlier work was a little too quirky with the occasional strange quotation en-song. For me; it is that very quality that make these guys. The latest offering may be more commercial but for me their second creation, namely "The Warning" is their masterpiece to date. I doubt personally if it will be bettered by the band. Only my opinion I know......but listen for yourself.... and enjoy the melodic ramblings that make this a classic.

Why did I buy it? On a whim. Am I pleased I did? Hell yeah!

I saw Hot Chip on Jools Holland's Later programme but was wary about paying a full retail price for an album that I had not heard or read a review on. I checked on E Bay and found 1 on auction which I bid for and won. It was delivered promptly by the seller.

Overall I was disappointed with the content of the album finding the music flat in comparison with their televised performance and will not be purchasing any other.

I WANTED THIS ALBUM AFTER SEEING HOT CHIP SUPPORTING GOLDFRAPP IN 2006.
IT TOOK ME 2 YEARS TO GET IT BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT.
