Well researched documentary about the Third Reich,
From it's inception in 1933 until the final hours - fighting against the Russians in Berlin.
A lot of the footage are 'home movies' - even some of Eva Brauns are included. What is interesting, is with it being in colour, it brings home the reality and whole inclusivity of the german population in such events such as the Nuremburg rallies. Local gatherings like harvest festivals still had all the influence and control of the NSDAP.
Facinating insight into a society which will never exist in mainland europe again.
