A brilliant dvd of the cult classic rocky horror picture show. I bought this dvd as it was the 2 disc special edition, the 2nd disc containing deleted scenes, documentaries, trailers and sing a longs! audio commentary available and prompts to let you participate in the story. this film gets more weirder & better the more i watch it. would always recommend getting the 2 disc version for all the bonus features. A great dvd!

Let's face it,a film that is Science fiction,Horror,Musical,Comedy,and Romance should be a total disaster,it is in fact a sensual revelation,stretching the boundaries of bad taste,sexuality,fashion sense,and over acting,to their limits, it is a roller coaster ride of excess.Tim Curry is perfect as Frank N Furter and the rest of the cast play their parts to perfection,the music and songs are simple,catchy and memorable,the plot is deliberately simple because it doesn't rely on it,you are simply swept away on the joy of immorality.The film has spawned many spin-offs including stage shows and loyal fans who frequently get together to re-enact every scene,every song and every flamboyant gesture.If Richard O'Brien is remembered for only this ,then his life has not been in vain.If you do not appreciate this film then you have no soul and Satan will feed on your burned out shell.You have been warned.

sexy castle story with sing songs and biggins and a man created by a genius from transexualvania and brad and janet and that guy from crystal maze

This is my all time favorite-It arrived in good time and in perfect condition- I am delighted to have found it on dvd so now i can scrap my video-

i have the dvd myself and a friend has yet to see it. acting is brill and music too. i would recommend anyone seeing this or even the live show. its cult status is fantastic and well deserved.

Simply one of the best musicals ever made. Got great songs and some great acting as well. Brought this because i play drums and wanted to learn the songs within the context of the whole musical.

This is an all time classic. Yes one of those must see films before you die. Yes I nearly died watching it I was rolling about in laughter. t t t touch me again to see if i'm alive! A 'b' movie not to be missed. Every second is not to be missed. The experience captured on this dvd of how a theater audiance would see it is great. The pub that I work at has an entertainer who will be putting on a show where he will be singing all the hits from the show and people will be dressed up hopefully and money raised for a local charity. So I had to get thid DVD just to keep up to date. But once seen never ever dare you forget it.

Bought this copy as I suddenly realised I didn't have a copy in my DVD library - and everyone should have it!

Delightfully camp classic with some great songs and the extras are fun too. Richard O'Brien wrote a classic and it contains some splendidly over the top performances from Tim Curry, Richard himself and Sarah Sarandon - just how much expression she gets in her eyes as the naive young couple slowly realise what they're getting themselves into!

some good extras but i do have a problem with a chap wearing benders. look out for christopher biggins

What a film, I'm sure I can't write anything that hasn't been said before, but its a classic. Couple of bottles of wine and away you go!! Top Stuff.

While not being a devotee of the 'Rocky horror picture show' I have always been a fan since I first viewed the film many years hence. It was then a major breakthrough in movies being at least daring; and at most outragess to an extreme which has since seen many other film maker attempt to copy the format. (without success I may add).
There will be only one Rocky Horror Show, they could never remake this however hard they tried because it was original and will always be the best. Tim Curry gives his best, and Meatloaf, well he is meatloaf and as expected is brilliant in his role. All the actors are just as entertaining as you would also expect them to be. It is a film in a million.
If you never watch another film, then make this the last one you veiw before taking the vow..It will change your mind.

I first watched this when I was 12 years old my cousin sat me down and said I would be educated and wasnt he right, for my 13th birthday he took me to see the show and WOW - AMAZING. This is my all time favourite film, such a fantastic cult film. Who would of thought that a bloke could carry off wearing a basque (as well as those heels) so well. Brilliant music, songs dancing and hillarious plot line, and as for the time warp you just cant resist. Never again will a film match the magnificence of this, such fun.
Not to be missed by anyone.

We decided to buy this DVD after seeing the show,there is'nt anything we dislike about the product.The things we do like is that the product was value for money and this makes the DVD more enjoyable.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a seminal piece in the world of unusual musical theatre, and it's popularity is shown in the fans which have continued to support it, and those young people also drawn in by it's outrageous charm.

The double disc DVD allows avid fans to enjoy snippets of outtakes and watch some wonderful documentaries on the enduring piece. For first time viwers it gives you a high quality viewing of the most famous performances of the show, letting you be attracted by the charming portrayal of Frank-N-Furter by Tim Curry, still avidly remembered for this role.

There are also two sing-a-long selections on the second disc to Sweet Transvaestite and Touch-a Touch-a Touch-a Touch Me. Unfortunately these appear rather a let down, as the timing is off and the picture quality is dismal, and truly only any use if you need reminding of small sections of words.

The Participation Prompter is great fun, and gets you ready for seeing the real stage version (if you are lucky enough), perfect for a night in with the wine.

A must watch extra is One in a While sung by Brad (Barry Bostwick), cut from this version, but still in the stage play. It is definately worth a watch along with the Hot Patootie music video, which will have you dancing around in no time.

Overall, this is a highly satisfying product, and one which is a must for any Rocky Horror fan, new or old.

this is a classic dvd, brilliant fun, great for open minded people, it'll will be great to watch with friends, it is a film that is easy to watch although in some parts it gets quite interestingly rude!

I bought the Rocky Horror DVD because I'd booked to see the live show
and wanted to watch it a few times before i went to see it.
