I was very happy when I bought this soundtrack on ebay, because it is hard to buy in my country.
It is briliant work of Elton John (music and voices) and Tim Rice (lyrics). There are 14 great tracks (one duet - with Randy Newman) and I really enjoy all tracks with great Elton´s music and voice too.
It is great for everyone who like to listen quality music.
If you are fan of E L T O N J O H N do not wait and BUY IT. You must have it in your collection.
RECOMMEND.

A glorious city....
) This is one of a great many animations that I love because of the music and the jokes. When I bought the cd I thought I would be getting the exact music that is in the film.
Unfortunately, it didnt quite live up to my expectations. I was hoping the song "its tough to be a god" sung by the actors would be on there, but its sung by Elton John, who, a good singer as he is, doesnt really fill their shoes. There are a few others which are sung by Elton on the cd rather than the original film versions, which is annoying.
Having said that, the music in itself is good. Typical Elton John. If you like his music, buy this cd without hesitation.
