The Ring (DVD 2003)

I love the intensity of the film its self.. the way it was produced... brilliant.

I decided to buy it, because i watched the film before, but have to have a copy my self, and glad i did

excellent story, kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.
not my usual choice of films but it was brilliant.

I love this film because it is meant to be really terrifying and has special features.I decided to buy this DVD because my friend have watched it and really enjoyed it.

A thoroughly creepy, scary movie! If you like being frightened out of your wits, this is a great one to watch. I watched it alone, late at night, and really didn't want to climb those stairs to the bedroom .... just in case something strange was happening on my tv ......

I liked the unusual story, its different from most horror films.
I love the asian/ japanses type films, glad to see they remake them into english, but do buy the original versions as well.
I didn't dislike this version.

This is simply one of the best films i have seen in a long time!.I haven't seen the Japanese original, but i cant believe its a good as this.

I wont tell you the storyline, but just to say as another reviewer rightly noted it dosen't rely on gore,or monsters, just the plain fear factor!.

Naomi Watts in the role of Rachel is absolutely awesome, amd the young actor "Robert Dortman?" who plays her son is very good as well.

I watched the film on my own when my wife was out and when it ended i felt a little unerved, but also pleased to have seen such a great movie.

Treat yourself to a copy on ebay, or amazon as the price ranges from £3.00 to a maximum of £5.00.In the high street you will pay £12/14.00 ish.

I have treated myself to the special two disc dvd which cost me £5.00 for the documentaries,outakes,etc just to gain a little more insight how such a brilliant movie was made.

Finally, there is a "Ring Two" which also stars Naomi Watts which is not bad but not a patch on the original, so i hope they dont go and spoil a good thing and make a "Ring Three".

THIS IS A GREAT NEW FRIGHT BUT THANKS TO JAPAN. A CLISSIC JAPANESE HORROR WITH AN AMERICAN REVAMP DONE TO PERFECTION. A FILM TO BLOW UR MIND IF U STILL BUY VIDEO FROM BOOT SALES (WHO KNOWS SHE MIGHT BE THERE LOL). THIS A MUST FILM TOO HAVE ALSO IF U GOT THE ORIGINAL RING

really scary! not for faint hearted just got to get the follow up.family likes scary horror movies at the moment.one you can watch again in the dark winter months.

Normally these sort of films don't usually intrest me, but i watched this on TV. And i thought it was genuinely scary, with an intresting story that sucked me in. The idea behind this film is what makes it spine chilling, and hard to forget even after you have finished viewing. The film doesn't rely on monsters, gore or blood to scare the viewer. Infact just the atmosphere of the film itself is quite scary and freaky. Let alone the evil entity known as 'Samara'. Genuinely scary film.....

We got this as we watched it at a friends, i wasn't interested at first from the proper reviews, so i wouldn't have watched this one normally, that being said, it was to my surprise a great film with a good story line and one we wanted to own.

I LIKE SHOPPING ON E-BAY LOOKING FOR THING`S THAT I WANT AT A GREAT PRICE THEN WAITING TO SEE IF I HAVE WON IF YOU DONT WIN THERE ARE MORE TO BID FOR, I LOVE HORROR FILM`S EVEN IF I HAVE SEEN THEM I WILL STILL BUY THEM AND WATCH THEM FROM TIME TO TIME. IT IS EVEN BETTER AT SUCH A LOW COST I NEVER BUT FROM SHOP`S ANYMORE JUST WAIT TILL THEY POP UP ON E-BAY GREAT FOR BARGIN`S WELL DONE E-BAY !!!!!!!

wow, thought what a different great scary film after watching it, all friends and family loved it too and all gave it a 5/5, won't spoil what happens, just tell you this, the film is highly recommend, highly jam packed with action,

I wanted to buy this dvd as i had lost mine and the full price in the shop was over double the price on ebay. i like to buy things that say they are new in condition i bought this dvd from this person as they had good feedback and told me the dvd was new and took the risk.
It was sent fast and the dvd was perfect i am keeping an eye out for another film now.I also liked that the seller kept in contact with me and sent an email when they had recieved my payment. i also went to this seller as he accepted a cheque as payment.

It was the most chilling story since the amitiville horror, texas chainsaw masacre and phsyco. Well made, original storyline, well casted and pshycologicaly thrilling. one of the best horrors i have seen in years!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the scariest horror movies ever! Forget the sequal, this original (well, English original) is full of suspense. It has you on the edge of your seat until the last second...
Wonderful movie that I'd recommend to any horror fan.
