just sit back and enjoy. Sounds amazing some amazing sounds of vocal. How an album should be. Each song shows how good Kate Bush is. why should I love you Song of Solomon and your the one. Gets you thinking about what your live is about.
i bought this album because i had it years ago its well produced and some really lovely atmospheric songs on it, it has a nice feel to it although its not everybodys taste die hard kate bush fans may not like it as much as the earlier stuff wuthering heights, violin, hounds of love it is not its a little more gentle but with that kate bush wackiness in places,
I have been after this dvd for some time now, and every time i try to win A bid I allways lose.Today must have been an off day for bidders and I won . It shows never give up on an item besause you never know ,theres always another one up for auction,.Maybe not today but theres always tomorow. So go on get bidding you might be A winning bidder like me. Win A bid and grab A bargain.
I love the voice of Kate Bush and did not have this particular CD. I have listened to the CD many times in my car now and it is an excellent studio album. Well worth buying.
I love the her music, she is a great singer and I bought it for my husband who collects Kate Bush albums but only had them on LPs. I thought it was about time he could enjoy them in his car as well as at home.
I bought this because I have it already on vinyl, but I can't be bothered to try and rip it and put it on a CD. It sounds just as good and as the last of Kate's albums before her 'holiday' before she came back with Aerial, it's a must-have in any Kate Bush collection - particularly if you want to keep your vinyls scratch-free! I must admit, though, I never liked the song with Prince much...
OK, this isn't known as being one of Kate's best albums. As a whole album, it is fairly weak. If you look at 'Hounds of Love' as a whole, it is a strong ablum. However, you need to pay attention to the individual songs in order to see this as a great album.
Sure it may seem a little long but radio-friendly tracks such as 'Rubberband Girl' and the title track stick in your mind.
The stand out track for me is the sublime 'Moments of Plasure' a gorgeous piano ballad reminiscent of the legendary 'This Womans Work' from The Sensual World and also 'A Coral Room' from Bush's latest masterpiece 'Aerial'.
Her vocal ability is outstanding and she shows off her range on the uplifting 'Top Of The City. Her strong attention to the smallest musical detail is still apparent on this record and although it may not be her best, there are still some little gems on this.
Standouts: Moments of Pleasure The Red Shoes Top Of The City
