The Perfect Storm (DVD 2000)

Only purchased this DVD for my daughter's English A level studies. We thought its one of those films that you only watch once. The special effects were very good pity the story line didn't match. The book explains more and gives a better understanding of a true event.

Generally a good story based on real events. A bit slow to get going which meant that the ending was a bit hurried. The storyline could have been tightened up a bit to increase the dramatic effect. Some of the characters weren't very well developed and therefore there wasn't as much empathy for the characters as there could have been.
