The Notebook (DVD 2005)

Now how many men will admit to being in tears by the end of a film? Well this one did it for me! Great story told in flashback. Very well acted and ladies.. make sure you've got a box of tissues handy by the end. ;)

This is the most romantic film I have ever seen and I just love the sweet, girlie clothes. You just have to watch this....it can't help but bring out some emotion in even the most hard hearted of people xx

The Notebook is like no other love story. It is a story of true love, courage and bravery. It highlights senile dementia, a heartbreaking mental illness/disease all too common in the elderly nowadays. A story with hidden meaning. A story where real love always finds a way. Love once lost, can come back 'till death do us part.
Beautifully written, fully deserving of it's oscars :)

This is the ultimate romatic film. Watched it once and just had to buy the DVD. I simply love this film! You won't be disappointed.

A heart rending love story between two people from teenagers to when they grow old. A must see romantic film.

Fantastic film where true love conquers all. The basic tale being of 'lady and the tramp'- a rich man's daughter falling for a working class man. Their love strives through adversity and defeats those who try to stand in its way. A great film to watch with someone very special to you. Recommended!

I have bought this film about maybe 6 months ago, but my son mistakingly broke the DVD. I was so upset, because its a movie I enjoy watching when am sad or depressed, and it actually relaxes me as I enjoy it very much.

I searched AMAZON to see if I will find it again, but this time around it was not only expensive, it had some regulation guidelines as it was coming from abroad. I now decided to find it on EBAY. VIOLA!!!, I was extremely delighted when I saw it, it not only arrived early after purchasing, it was very cheap.

I saw this film on sky and i loved it,so i decided to buy the dvd,a great romantic film,I like the way it tells a story about a couple and shows them when they are old and young,and their love is still strong.I would recommend this film to anyone who loves a good romantic film.It's a very sad film too.

Fantastic film a real classic tearjerker. A must have for all film lovers. The set up was amazing and the chemistry between the actors blew me away its a film you'll want to watch over and over again!!

Well if I told you my favourite film of all time is breakfast at Tiffany's, this comes a close second. What a lovely film, had me enthralled and enchanted made me cry. Soppy but brilliant!!! Watch it you will love it.

A beautiful story, great acting and a moving ending. A fairly long movie but well worth the watch. If you've read the book you won't be disappointed with the movie translation which makes a nice change.

I have rated this film excellent as the overall storyline is lovely. However, it is a bit slow at the start. Other than that well worth a look.

I first watched this movie whilst on holiday with my husband. It was such a touching movie (yes...it made me cry) I just had to buy it when I got home. I have seen it quite a few times now and never tire of watching it. I won't tell you too much about it but I will let you know that it is an absolutely beautiful love story which would reduce anyone in a long term relationship to tears. I must also mention that this is where I found the lovely Ryan Gosling for the first time, so ladies go & watch it just for him!!
