Maverick hostage negotiator Danny Roman (Samuel L. Jackson) is framed for embezzlement and murder. Newly married and unjustly faced with prison, Roman turns hostage-taker to smoke out the guilty ones. Squaring off against him is respected, methodical negotiator Chris Sabian (Kevin Spacey). Under siege and racing the clock, the two lock in a deadly battle of wits.

BRILLANT FILM. SAMUEL L JACKSON AND KEVIN SPACEY ARE FANTASTIC TOGETHER. THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL BASICALLY, THE TWIST IS IN THE FRAMING OF A GOOD COP!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The Negotiator (DVD) 1999This is a film for any Samuel L Jackson fan. It's Samuel doing what Samuel does, and very well. The story was one we've probably all seen on more than one occasion, but still you find yourself glued to the screen waiting to see what happens next (though the more astute of you will guess the ending before the plot has actually been revealed). The quality of the DVD and packaging was A1. I'm definitely a happy shopper :-)

A fantastic and totally underrated No Brainer of a film - sit back and bask in the performances of 2 of the best actors in Hollywood. The films so good you can easily forgive a few obvious plot signposts and the somewhat cheesy ending. I bought it because its a film I will watch again and again. If you liked con air or the rock this will keep you happy

Gritty hostage negotiator drama/action, starring Denzel Washington and Kevin Spacey, Washington being falsley accussed of criminal actions, takes over a police station and then calls on fellow negotiator Spacey to control the situation and find out who set him up.

This is an excellent film, full of action but very realistic not like some films which are over the top and un-realistic. It is action packed from the word go and a very exciting film all the way through. A*****
