Elvis Presley - The Interviews (Outstanding Rare Insights Into The King Of Rock 'n' Roll) (CD 1996)

This CD contains good quality recordings of Elvis Presley's interviews - mostly from the 1950's (a few from 1960's & 70's).

There are 12 tracks including a few rare ones. I have only heard a few extracts of these on various documentaries; it is nice to have a collection with details of when and where it was recorded.

Sometimes the background noise is a little loud but never intrusive; the quality of sound overall is very clear. It provides a fascinating insight into Elvis' character, since some of these interviews were recorded while he was serving in the US army.
