If you want the music as is in the film this is the cd that does it. I mainly bought for title track but all tracks have me remembering one of the classic films of all time. This was a must for my collection.
I was born in 1949 so I grew up in the late 50s early 60s, from the age of 13 I was visiting the cinema 2 or 3 times a week then going home to listen to the Beatles/who/rolling stones etc. When I was 15 I saw my first spagetti western and was instantly hooked by the haunting soundtrack and couldn't wait for each new film to come out, not just watching the film, but returning to the cinema for the second showing and sitting outside on the fire escape steps to listen again for free. It still captures my attention, Morrecone is king.
