In many respects Prince's feud with Warner Brothers ruined a lot of his creative output in the nineties. This album is one of the exceptions though, with catchy tunes, Gold, Sly, Dolphin etc and the massive hit 'The Most beautiful Girl in the World'. No Prince collection is complete without this. Essential.

Review of Prince - The Gold ExperianceThis album is another example of the genius that is Prince. Dont think you can go far wrong where prince is concerned. This is a great album with a good mix of funky song to more thoughtfull slow songs. This album is a great one to add to your prince collection.

Proof the purple wonder was still on fire in the 90sI am an avid Prince fan and would buy anything with his name on it. However, i am honest about his work, and when i say this is an excellant album i mean it!
Although not completely flawless, it is arguably is most consistent album of the 90s.
The album begins with P Control which features crazy synths and some witty, funny lyrics. From here onwards the ablum has a raw, rocky and funky feel.
Highlights include the amazing 'eye hate you' which contains great vocals and lyrics, the rocker 'endorphinemachine', the interesting 'shy' and also the massive single 'the most beautiful girl in the world'
The absolute best track for me personally however is 'shhh'. The guitar, drums and vocals of this song are out of this world. Its also one of his highlights live

I purchased this for my sister-in-law as an xmas gift. She was unable to buy it in the shops so i did some research and found that it had been removed from sale by the artist (Prince), apparently he didn't like it!
Anyway, the only place i could find it was either from the USA, which takes about 2-3 weeks for delivery and costs about £20+ not including delivery, or on ebay, where i paid about £13 including p&p.
Great CD, although i always read the descriptions in full and email if i have any quiries, i had a listen to make sure it was without damage, and it was in excellent condition. Thankyou ebay, and thankyou seller. x x

I decided to buy this item on ebay due to the fact that it has been erased from the records, and is the only C.D with one of my favourite tracks 'The most beautiful girl in the world'. Once i knew it had been erased it turned into a mission to own this C.D! There is nothing i don't like about it, how could i dislike anything that came from Prince (or 'The artist formerly known as Prince'). It's nice to own something you cant get in the shops anymore.
