I originally bought this CD in June 1997 having waited so long for the new Prodigy album, I was almost too scared to play it. But I plucked up the courage and it absolutely blew me away. The sound quality was fantastic, production great- a truely unique sound. Ten or eleven years of constant play, wear and tear left my album a little, not abused but certainly used so when i noticed on ebay that Fat of the Land was available at such a reasonible price and obviously re-issued in 2004 i simply couldn't resist. My CD arrived promptly and in excellent condition, hassle-free and certainly not expensive- if only everything in life ran as smoothly as this transaction.
If you grew up in the 90s and listened to dance music then half of the songs on here are proper anthems. I've had itin my car for the last week and haven't taken it out f the cd player once. Buy it!
the prod this is a great album for those huge fans of the prod or even for those who want a 90's blast, tracks are amazing, a must buy for the music collection
Out there, full on music... Warning don't listen to 'Breath' whilst driving,as it tends to make you drive quite fast. Well it does me anyway (obviously a simpleton)all in all a bit hit and miss, but give it a try you may like it.
this has got to be the prodigy best album its a mix of old and new and comes up with the best. the fat of the land cd i would give 9/10 it would take a lot to beet this one.
bought this to replace a lost copy,so the album must be good! one of those rare albums where all the tracks are good.if your into good music and have somehow missed this in the past, buy one.
First of all, I'd like to point out that this is not my normal kind of music; I'm more of a metal head, listening to slipknot, korn, drowning pool, SOAD, and others. I was drawn to this album after going to a pendulum gig (also highly recommended band!!), and various prodigy tracks were played during the warm up. I decided to go for this album as it seems to be their most famous and had 'firestarter' which i knew anyway. I wasn't disappointed. The album is relentless, with catchy hooks and thumping basslines. It's fairly easy listening, great for parties, and surprisingly, is very good as a background to revision!
All in all, it's a great album, especially if you like pendulum and other Rave/electronica groups...Buy Now!
The Prodigy - The Fat Of The Land (CD 2004) I've been looking for this cd recently as i used to have it years ago and keep hearing tracks on the radio and thought i would try and get hold of it. This is an excellent cd with some great tracks. well worth buying.
The Prodigy is definately not everyone's cup of tea, but if you think you might like this , then get it ... definately! I bought it on the strength of "music for the gilted generation" and I was certainly not dissapointed!! Highly recomended.
A totally awesome album, jammed with the usuall mixture of adrenaline and heart pounding tunes. A must for all those fast drivers........ this is guarenteed to make your foot hit the metal.
a must have classic for any prodigy fan along with 'music for the gilted generation' and a brilliant album for anyone into techno, acid, and even dance and punk fans love it

Some good oldies on this, must be I had it on cassette! Still great thumping bass, Breathe and Firestarter my favs, but all good tracks & I prefer this to some of their other albums. Worth getting and seeing for yourself.
I liked this method of purchasing cds as it recycles old cd that are not wanted anymore . I love the buy it now, think of an old cd look it up, buy it bang! done!
This is the Prodigy's third album. It is a good enough album but in my opinion is not as good as there first two albums (Experience and Music For The Jilted Generation). There are some very good tunes on here though which are well worth checking out.
