The Family Man (DVD 2001)

Love Nicholas cage in any film. Lovely story, started watching it on TV and missed the end so had to buy it. Well worth it and a Happy ending.

I watched The Family Guy on the television around 3 weeks ago, I really enjoyed the film so I just had to buy it on DVD. The Film is funny but also sometimes moving when Nicolas Cage has to leave the Family home and go back to his original businessman world.
This is a great film and whoever buys it wont be dissapointed.

Great romantic comedy. Puts life into perspective and it does make you think twice about your actions in life. What would you do if you had a second chance? Goes to proof money can buy most things, but the greatest things in life are definately film. Five star.

Its a great family movie with a good story line that keeps you watching till the end....
Its not a action packed movie nor is it a Girly movie...
If your a fan of Mr cage, you will be surprised with this choice of movie, but rest assured you will not be disapointed....
I liked the fact that you acn watch this movie over and over again and it keeps you smiling from start till end....Its a good movie to watch with the partner for those nights in..
All in all its a fun movie with a clever script thats makes you think ;what if......

The film has a bit of everything romance, funny, sad. The ending was good it wasnt what you think might happen they lived happy ever after). I had seen it already and enjoyed it so I wanted my own copy.

This film is one of mine and my husbands favourite movies of all time.There are no special effects,no fast action and indeed no sex and violence really.But what it does have is a powerful message to all people with children.Every once in a while we watch this film if only to realise what we have and how lucky we are in life.It is a modern twist to the old black and white James Sterwart film 'It's a Wonderful Life' that to me is the best way to describe it's content without giving the story away too much.Nicholas Cage plays a wonderful character trapped in hell(as he see's it)and Tea Leoni plays his beautiful wife who loves him regardless of his little breakdown he appears to be having.But all is not as it seems and at the end I defie anyone not to be touched by this movie which i know will someday be a classic

Excellent film by Nicholas Cage. He shows his great skill as a convincing actor in the very watchable movie.

It was an easy to watch, thought provoking film.
I bought it because it was on my boyfriend's christmas pressie list and I enjoyed watching it as much as he did!

ideal presnt for any teenagers, funny to a certain degree, my two teenagers loved it and have watched may times so far.

Here’s a movie that’s listed as a ‘romantic comedy’! I heard no laughs where I saw it though. If the director’s intention was comedy it was a poor job. This film did keep me entertained though. Set in America at Christmas time the plot centres on a romance that could have been, was, wasn’t and then should have been. No it’s not as complicated as it sounds. Ever wondered what would have happened in your life if you had made a different decision? The concept of the storyline, I thought was great and I wondered at some point in the movie if it would turn into the massive tearjerker that it perhaps should have been. No such luck, but my eyes did start to water at some point.

This movie should have gone all the way to perhaps being more emotional and sensual (Spielberg managed it with E.T- but I suppose this one is a different kettle of fish)! A very good effort! Probably a very difficult one to direct as it seems to try very hard to put some kind of message across and genuinely succeeds to entertain for over two hours, but nothing else.
