If ur a U2 fan this is a fab buy. I have all u2s albums but this has got a lot of songs that aint on any of the others. Lady with the spinning head is a record I personnally love and cannot understand why they never released this for the charts.
Family all love U2 and this is a classic, having some of their best tracts during that period. the copy I had in car without DVD disappeared this is better by far! Like everything about it and it is due to be burned to daughters laptop/home computer so we all get to enjoy it.
there was one song i had been trying to get for a long time,by u2 i found i couldnt get it,as it was a b side, after some searching,i found it on ebay, and was delighted, the cd was as it was described on ebay, used but in perfect condition.
I had this on cd and am now happy to own it on dvd as well. I love U2s music. They are one of my favourite bands. I cant say anything bad about this band, its music, or the product I am writing about.
The second 2 disc U2 best of to arrive, this time covering their later music from 1990 through to 2000. All the hits from the excellent 'Achtung Baby' are here and whilst i wasn't that impressed with the direction the band took with 'Zooropa' and 'Pop',at least the songs that are worth listening to appear here rather than having to buy the 2 album seperately. Disc 2 offers a number of B sides and remixes of the likes of 'Even better than the real thing','Lemon' and 'Discotheque' and whilst i prefer U2's earlier work, any 'Best of' U2 cd has surely worthy of appearing in any music fan's record collection.
When many bands issue a best of with their B sides, you only get half a good album. But then U2 have never really made a B side, so you actually get 31 tracks of some of their best music. I originally bought this for Beautiful Day, but soon found lots of other material that I had missed in the ten years. It comes with a free DVD, but I think this is more for the fanatic than the fan and I have actually passed this on through Ebay to some one who really wanted it. One for the collection. Peter (Stampz)
