at first when the anthology's first come out i did not like them
but over the years listoning to my friends talking about them
so i liston'd to it and it started to get interesting
so i saw vol 2 on ebay and won it
now im happy
rating 10/10

It's all been said.
Probably the most influential all round musical outfit there has ever been.
Nothing has come close since.

exellent cd full of songs not heard before good sound level a must for everybody who likes a bit of nostalgia

This is great,real songwriters.They live on for ever.They knew all there is to songwriting.I am reading" Secrets to Beatles songwr." by Dominic Pendler,needed to hear some alt.takes.Great band,great singers,great players.

Firstly buy this only if you are a fan, as not complete songs!
The Beatles are perhaps the greatest popular musicians of all time, and when you listen to this album you will understand why. Not their best album, but still plenty of incredible songs on here - that will never go out of date. Incredible Stuff. Guaranteed something for everyone.
Everything from the Sleeve to the music is Legendary - Plus in HMV/Virgin these beatles albums are always around 12-15 so grab yourself a bargain.

i bought the beatles anthology because i love to collect beatles itms and i thought the item was a great buy i have had a few purchases from ebay and think it a great way to shop

I have been meaning to complete my Anthology of the Beatles, and this album contains without a doubt a Superb song.. The 1996 release, from the remixes of "Real Love" makes this anthology (pt2) worth buying for that, on it's own!

Listening to this you can appreciate how much work was put into making the fantastic songs The Beatles wrote and produced, the amount of takes it took to get it perfect. concidering the era the songs were made, the music of today would have been very bland if it wasn't for The Beatles, Even other great musicians from the late 20th century and 21st century are all influensed by The Beatles and what experimenting they did from the Rubber soul Album onwards, You should listen to the cd/albums in order though.
